How to connect Casio CTK-2550 to pc
Very Important: The CTK-2550 does NOT have a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Jack.
You may connect the Casio CTK-2550 to PC using an AUX cable
- You will need a standard AUX audio cable with 3.5mm jacks on each end; this is the standard jack size for headphones
- One end will connect to your PC
- The output jack on the CTK-2550 is 6.3mm / 1/4 inch, so you will need a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter
- Connect the 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter to the AUX cable, and plug the 6.3mm adapter into the Casio CTK-2550

To record your playing on the Casio CTK-2550, you may follow the steps below.
- Ensure that the audio recording software on your PC is not running / not launched
- Ensure that the Casio CTK-2550 Keyboard is turned off
- Connect the Casio CTK-2550 to the PC with an AUX cable using the method in the section above
- Turn on the Keyboard
- Launch the audio recording software
- You are now connected and ready to record; follow the instructions for your software and play
