If you’re looking for a Hamzer keyboard or already own one, congratulations! You’ve taken the first step on your musical journey. If you’re in need of some technical advice about your instrument, read ahead to find the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Hamzer keyboards.

How Do I Contact Hamzer Support?

If you have any queries or you’re experiencing any problems with your Hamzer keyboard, you can:

  • Contact their helpline at: (954) 577-1043
  • Reach out to them online through: Support@Hamzer.com.

Who Makes Hamzer Electronic Keyboards?

Hamzer’s head office is in Florida and if you have any queries about the manufacturing, you can contact them there or through their online support.

How Much is a Hamzer Keyboard?

Hamzer keyboards are great budget keyboards with models that are suitable for pianists of all levels, from beginner to pro. Their keyboards mostly have 61 keys (with some exceptions) that contribute to their low price. Most keyboards range between USD 100-200. Some of the popular models include:

  • Hamzer 61-Key Digital Keyboard- $115
  • Hamzer 61-Key Portable Keyboard- $117
  • Hamzer 61-Key Electric Keyboard Piano- $160.

How to Put Together a Hamzer Keyboard

Obviously, before you start playing you’ll need to set up your keyboard and stand. Set up your stand and attach the loops that come with it with the screws facing upwards. Find the corresponding screw holes at the bottom of your keyboard and fit them on the stand. Either plug your keyboard into a power supply or power it with AA batteries (depending on your instrument and the power source available), turn it on and start playing.

For visuals of how to set up your stand, you can consult the following links:

Which MIDI Cord Do I Need for a Hamzer Keyboard?

You will need a USB-MIDI cable to connect your Hamzer keyboard to your computer (or tablet). This will allow you to record what you’re playing on your computer, edit it, etc.

How to Sound Like a Grand Piano on a Hamzer Keyboard

When you turn your piano on, the default setting will be on piano. Keep an eye out for a few things:

  • Make sure the split mode (if it exists) is switched off so that you can hear all the notes clearly.
  • If your keyboard is touch-sensitive, make sure the touch sensitivity is on since this is one of the key features that makes it sound like a grand piano.
  • If you have the option to plug in a sustain pedal, do so.
  • Don’t add too much reverb.
  • Apart from this, just keep practicing and you can play professionally on your keyboard piano.

For more on how to increase the sound quality of your keyboard, check out the following video:

How to Record on a Hamzer 61-Key Digital Music Piano Keyboard

Most Hamzer keyboards feature a record and playback option. Your keyboard will have a record button (maybe labeled as Demo), press to start recording. To stop, either press the same button or a play button if your instrument has one. if your keyboard’s memory is full, it will be displayed on the screen.

Where to Get Hamzer Keyboard Parts

You can get keyboard parts either from a local music instruments store or from online stores such as:

Where to Get Hamzer Keyboard Book Stand

Again, you can find the book stand at a local book stand or even online through e-stores such as Amazon.

How to Put Stickers on a Hamzer Keyboard

Your keyboard may either come with stickers or you can buy them separately. Make sure to stick them on carefully to avoid damaging the keys.

For visual guides on how to put stickers on your keyboard, you can refer to the following videos:

It is recommended not to use stickers unless absolutely necessary, but if you are using them, ONLY use those designed to be used on piano keys.

How to Change Mic Volume on a Hamzer Keyboard

Generally, you can’t change the mic volume on your keyboard. However, if the volume is lower than normal, try resetting your keyboard to its factory setting- this is because sometimes, internal audio settings may be out of place.

If your keyboard has MIDI connectivity, you can open audio MIDI settings to adjust the volume.

Where is MIDI Output on a Hamzer Keyboard?

Your Hamzer keyboard will have to ports for MIDI connectivity- MIDI IN & MIDI OUT. These will be located at the top of your Hamzer keyboard. Use a USB cable to connect your keyboard to your computer.

How to Connect Hamzer Keyboard to MIDI

Use a USB MIDI cable to connect your keyboard to your computer. Make sure you have the right software downloaded on your PC so that it recognizes your instrument. Once you’ve plugged it in, turn on the power. Your software will allow you to record your music on your computer, edit it, and even test out keyboard notes so that you can adjust your lyrics as you go along.

    Wrapping Up

We hope we’ve addressed the major queries you may have regarding your Hamzer keyboard. For other technical queries, you can check your user manual. For any other questions, you can call them on their helpline or drop them an email through their support link (as mentioned at the beginning of this article).
